I’m a creative director, copywriter and creative consultant. I’ve yet to come up with a better way of explaining what that means to non-ad world people other than, “I write stuff that gets people excited to buy stuff!” I also get pretty jazzed about building brands, forging connections and unearthing those slippery human truths. But that doesn’t sound nearly as cool when you’re talking to your Uber driver.

 

However, I’m no one trick pony! I also write a lot of food reviews, which is totally different. “I write stuff that gets people excited to eat stuff!“ I’ve won the Zagat Wittiest Reviewer Award. And once, a guy sent me a message saying that I was “the epitome of a great food review writer” (cool!) and that he “bowed to me” (weird.).
